The betPawa football Jackpot in Uganda currently has two 1X2 pool formats: Pick13 with 13 fixtures and Pick17 with 17 fixtures. Pick13 offers a UGX 10,000,000 main Jackpot, while Pick17 offers UGX 200,000,000.
Every fixture requires a 1X2 prediction:
- 1 for a home win
- X for a draw
- 2 for an away win
Pick13 also pays consolation prizes for 12, 11 and 10 correct picks. Pick17 has consolation tiers for 16, 15, 14 and 13 correct picks. The amounts in the consolation tiers can change between pools.
Jackpot is separate from Pawa6, casino Jackpot Games and ordinary sportsbook multi-bets.
betPawa Jackpot Pools and Ticket Basics
Pick13 requires predictions for 13 football fixtures. Pick17 requires predictions for 17.

The consolation prize amounts are determined for the individual pool after settlement.
When several tickets finish with the same number of correct picks in a winning tier, the prize for that tier is divided equally between those tickets.
Choosing 1, X or 2 for Every Match
Each Jackpot fixture uses the Full Time 1X2 result:
- 1 means the first-listed or home team wins.
- X means the match ends in a draw.
- 2 means the second-listed or away team wins.
The prediction concerns the result after regular time.
Regular time means the scheduled match time plus injury time. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not count toward the Full Time 1X2 result.
Complete all 13 selections for Pick13 or all 17 selections for Pick17 before purchasing the ticket.
Selecting More Than One Outcome for a Match
Jackpot tickets can use more than one 1X2 outcome on a fixture to create several ticket combinations.
For example, selecting both 1 and X on one match covers two possible results and creates two combinations for that fixture.
Selecting all three outcomes, 1, X and 2, creates three combinations.
Extra coverage increases the number of tickets rather than changing the settlement rule for the match.
How Multiple Selections Create Multiple Tickets
Multiple selections multiply the number of complete ticket combinations.
For example:
- Two outcomes on one fixture create 2 tickets.
- Three outcomes on one fixture create 3 tickets.
- Two outcomes on each of two fixtures create 4 tickets.
- Three outcomes on one fixture and two on another create 6 tickets.
The calculation is:
Number of selections on Match 1 x Number of selections on Match 2 x other multiple selections = total ticket combinations
Each combination remains a separate Jackpot ticket.
How to Play the betPawa Jackpot

Choose Pick13 or Pick17, complete every required 1X2 prediction and purchase the completed ticket before the pool closes.
Selecting an Available Pick13 or Pick17 Pool
- Open Jackpot.
- Choose Pick13 or Pick17.
- Review all fixtures in the selected pool.
- Select 1, X or 2 for every match.
- Add extra outcomes where multiple-ticket coverage is required.
- Check that every fixture has at least one prediction.
Pick13 requires selections across 13 matches. Pick17 requires selections across 17.
Reviewing the Ticket and Total Stake
Before purchasing the ticket, review:
- Pick13 or Pick17
- Every fixture
- Every 1X2 prediction
- Any fixtures with multiple outcomes
- Total number of ticket combinations
- Total purchase amount
Multiple selections can increase the number of tickets substantially. For example, using two outcomes on three different fixtures creates eight combinations.
Check the complete ticket before purchase because an accepted bet cannot be modified or cancelled by the customer.
Confirming the Jackpot Purchase
Select Buy Ticket after checking the selections and total purchase amount.
A bet becomes valid when betPawa issues a numbered betslip.
Once the ticket has been accepted, the customer cannot edit or cancel it.
Keep the accepted ticket until all included fixtures and prize tiers have been settled.
Jackpot Prizes and Winning Tiers
Pick13 and Pick17 use different main prizes and consolation structures.
Winning the Main Jackpot
The Pick13 main Jackpot is UGX 10,000,000.
To win it, a ticket must correctly predict all 13 Full Time 1X2 results.
The Pick17 main Jackpot is UGX 200,000,000.
To win it, a ticket must correctly predict all 17 Full Time 1X2 results.
If several tickets achieve the same winning total, the applicable prize is divided equally between those tickets.
Consolation Prizes for Near-Perfect Tickets
Pick13 includes consolation prizes for:
- 12 correct picks
- 11 correct picks
- 10 correct picks
Pick17 includes consolation prizes for:
- 16 correct picks
- 15 correct picks
- 14 correct picks
- 13 correct picks
The monetary amounts for these consolation tiers can vary from pool to pool and are determined after settlement.
How Prizes Are Shared Between Winning Tickets
A prize tier is shared equally when more than one ticket finishes with the same qualifying number of correct picks.
For example, if three tickets share a UGX 10,000,000 winning tier:
UGX 10,000,000 / 3 = UGX 3,333,333.33 per ticket
A customer holding two winning tickets participates with both tickets. Prize sharing is based on winning tickets rather than only on the number of individual account holders.
How Jackpot Matches and Results Are Settled
Jackpot uses Full Time 1X2 football outcomes.
How Full-Time 1X2 Results Are Counted
1X2 Full Time is settled after regular time.
Regular time includes:
- The scheduled 90 minutes
- Added injury time
It excludes:
- Extra time
- Penalty shootouts
For example, if a knockout match finishes 1-1 after 90 minutes and the away team later wins in extra time, the Full Time 1X2 result is X.
VAR decisions made during the match are included in the recognized on-field result.
Postponed, Abandoned and Rescheduled Matches
A postponed football match remains valid when its kickoff is rescheduled within 24 hours of the original kickoff time, including exactly 24 hours later.
A match that starts and then resumes within 24 hours is not treated as abandoned.
If an abandoned match restarts from minute one within that period, affected bets are re-settled using the new result.
Football bets affected by a match that does not resume or begin within the 24-hour period are handled as void under the football settlement rules.
When Jackpot Results Become Final
Football results are settled after the outcome has been obtained from reliable result sources.
The recognized on-field result includes decisions made through VAR.
Later decisions by disciplinary, sporting or legal authorities do not alter the betting result after settlement.
The Jackpot ticket can be evaluated once the relevant fixture results and winning tiers have been settled.
Checking Jackpot Tickets and Prize Status

Accepted Jackpot tickets remain available in the account betting records.
Finding Current and Completed Jackpot Tickets
Open the account betting history and locate the relevant Jackpot ticket.
Use the pool and fixture information to distinguish it from later Pick13 or Pick17 entries.
An unsettled ticket remains active while included fixtures are still awaiting results.
A completed entry contains the settled outcome after the pool has been finalized.
Checking Correct Picks and Prize Status
Compare each saved 1X2 selection with the Full Time result.
For Pick13, prize tiers begin at 10 correct selections.
For Pick17, prize tiers begin at 13 correct selections.
The main prizes require:
- 13 out of 13 for Pick13
- 17 out of 17 for Pick17
Consolation amounts can vary between pools, so the final settled ticket determines the monetary award.
Choosing Jackpot Picks
No method can guarantee a winning Pick13 or Pick17 ticket.
Reviewing Recent Form and Head-to-Head Results
Recent results can provide context on:
- Wins, draws and losses
- Home performance
- Away performance
- Goals scored and conceded
Head-to-head results can also provide historical context, but older meetings can become less relevant after changes to squads, coaches and competition conditions.
These statistics help evaluate fixtures but do not guarantee a correct 1X2 prediction.
Checking Team News Before Making Your Picks
Before purchasing the ticket, check information that can affect the expected match result, including:
- Injuries
- Suspensions
- Expected line-ups
- Rotation
- Fixture congestion
- Venue changes
A fixture marked (n) is being played at a neutral venue. The first-listed team is still treated as the home selection for 1X2 purposes and the second-listed team as the away selection.
Multiple selections can cover additional 1X2 outcomes but also create additional ticket combinations.
FAQ
Can I edit or cancel a Jackpot ticket after buying it?
An accepted Jackpot ticket cannot be edited or cancelled by the customer. Check all fixtures, 1X2 selections, multiple selections, ticket combinations and the total purchase amount before selecting Buy Ticket.
Are Pick13 and Pick17 different from Pawa6 and casino Jackpot Games?
Pick13 and Pick17 are football 1X2 pools requiring predictions across 13 or 17 fixtures. Pawa6 is a separate football prediction game based on six exact-score predictions and a points system. Casino Jackpot Games are casino products with their own game mechanics. The three products do not share the same entry or prize rules.
What happens if the venue or teams in a Jackpot match change?
If a fixture is played at a neutral venue, it is marked (n). The first-listed team remains the home selection and the second-listed team the away selection. If an event takes place at a different scheduled venue or one of the participating teams differs from the original fixture, betPawa can void the related bets.
What does (n) mean next to a Jackpot match?
(n) means the fixture is being played at a neutral venue. The team listed first is treated as the home team for the 1 selection, while the team listed second is treated as the away team for the 2 selection.
What happens if a Jackpot match is scheduled for less or more than 90 minutes?
Football matches scheduled in a format other than the normal two 45-minute halves plus injury time are void for betting purposes. Friendly matches are the exception. Friendly bets are settled using the actual result even when the full 90 minutes are not played.
Does VAR affect the result used to settle a Jackpot match?
VAR decisions made as part of the match are included in the recognized on-field result. A goal awarded or disallowed after VAR can therefore change the Full Time 1X2 result used for settlement.
Can a later disciplinary or official decision change a settled Jackpot result?
Later decisions by disciplinary, sporting or legal authorities do not change the recognized betting result. Settlement uses the result achieved on the field, including any VAR decisions made during the match.
Can betPawa void or re-settle an accepted Jackpot ticket because of an error?
betPawa can correct obvious errors in betting information or result evaluation even after an event and can declare affected bets void. A ticket can therefore be corrected or re-settled when an obvious error affects its settlement.
