A deliberate betPawa logout ends access through the current session. This is particularly important after using an account through a website, mobile browser, Android app, iPhone app, shared phone or borrowed device. Closing the browser or app does not replace the Log Out action.
Uganda users can sign out from the current device, check that the session has ended and manage saved login details separately. Logging out does not close the underlying betPawa account or remove its balance, bets or transaction history.
Overview
betPawa Uganda can be accessed through desktop and mobile browsers, the Android app and the native iPhone app.
Logging out ends the current account session. Saved browser passwords, Keep me logged on this device and Android auto-login are separate login features and should be considered when using shared equipment.
A login from another location also ends the previous betPawa session.
App and Mobile Access
Uganda users can access betPawa through:
- Desktop browser
- Mobile browser
- Android app
- Native iPhone app
The Android app activates auto-login after the first successful login. The iPhone app is betPawa Sports Betting from pawaTech OU and requires iOS 12.4 or later.
App installation and account login are separate from logout. Removing an app from the recent-apps screen does not perform the Log Out action.
How to Log Out of betPawa
Use the Log Out control to end the active account session instead of simply closing the browser or app.
Logging Out on the Website and Mobile Browser
- Open the account menu while signed in.
- Select Log Out.
- Wait for the signed-out page to appear.
- Check that account information is no longer accessible.
- Close the browser when using a shared or borrowed device.
Opening the account again after logout should require a new login.
Logging Out in the Android App
- Open the active betPawa app session.
- Open the account menu.
- Select Log Out.
- Wait for the app to return to its signed-out state.
- Close the app after logout when using someone else’s device.
Swiping the Android app away from the recent-apps screen only closes its visible window. It does not replace Log Out.
Checking That the Session Has Ended
Reopen betPawa after selecting Log Out.
The account should no longer open directly into the authenticated session. Account access should require another login.
On a shared browser, also check whether the password was saved separately. Logging out does not delete a password stored by Chrome, Safari, Firefox or another password manager.
Closing betPawa vs Logging Out
Closing a browser or app and logging out are different actions.
What Happens When You Close the Browser or App
Closing a tab, browser window or mobile app removes betPawa from the screen but does not perform the Log Out action.
A retained session can become visible again when the site or app is reopened.
On a shared device:
- Select Log Out.
- Wait for the signed-out state.
- Close remaining betPawa tabs or app screens.
- Remove saved credentials if the browser or device stored them.
How “Keep Me Logged On This Device” Affects the Session
The web login form includes “Keep me logged on this device”.
When enabled, it is designed to reduce repeated login requests on that device.
Do not enable it on a public, borrowed or shared device. Use Log Out when finished.
A password saved by the browser is separate from “Keep me logged on this device”. Removing one does not automatically remove the other.
Logging Out When Android Auto-Login Is Active
The Android app activates auto-login after the first successful sign-in.
On a device that another person can access, use Log Out before leaving the phone. Do not rely on closing the app or removing it from the recent-apps list.
If the app is opened again after logout, use the normal login process when account credentials are requested.
When Another Login Ends Your betPawa Session
Logging in from another location causes the previous betPawa session to be logged out.
Logging In From Another Device or Location
When the same user logs in from another location, the earlier session is ended.
The previous device displays a logged-out state instead of continuing to provide authenticated account access.
This provides additional protection when moving between locations, but deliberate logout remains the appropriate action before returning or leaving a shared device.
Understanding the betPawa Logged-Out Message
When another login causes the session to end, betPawa displays:
“You have been logged out of this session, as your user has logged in from another location.”
This means another login for the same account occurred from a different location.
If the new login was not yours, protect the account credentials and contact Customer Support because account access details must not be shared with another person.
Logging Out on Shared or Borrowed Devices
A shared or borrowed device requires attention to the active session and any credentials saved locally.
Ending the Session Before Leaving the Device
Before returning a shared device:
- Select Log Out.
- Wait until the authenticated account session has ended.
- Close remaining betPawa tabs or app screens.
- Check whether the browser saved the phone number or password.
- Remove the betPawa credential from the browser or device password manager if it was stored.
Logging out and removing a saved password are separate actions.
Logging Out After Using pawaPass on Another Phone
pawaPass uses a Secure Selfie for identity verification.
If your own phone cannot take the Secure Selfie, the verification can be completed using the phone of someone you trust.
After using another person’s phone:
- Finish the pawaPass verification.
- Log out of betPawa on that device.
- Close the account page.
- Check that the account no longer opens without a new login.
- Remove any betPawa credentials saved on the borrowed phone.
Do not leave an authenticated account open simply because the phone owner does not know the password.
Logging Out vs Removing Saved Browser Passwords
Log Out ends the active betPawa session.
Removing a saved password deletes the credential stored by the browser or password manager.
On a shared browser, perform both actions when the password has been saved:
- Log out of betPawa.
- Open the browser’s saved-password settings.
- Remove the betPawa credential.
- Close the browser.
Deleting the saved password does not itself terminate an active betPawa session.
What Logging Out Changes
Logout affects account access through the active session. It does not delete or close the account.
Ending Account Access on the Current Session
After Log Out, authenticated account information is no longer available through that session without another login.
A separate login from another location also terminates the earlier session.
Logging out does not alter the underlying account status.
Balance, Placed Bets and Account History After Logout
Logging out does not delete:
- Account balance
- Open bets
- Settled bets
- Deposits
- Withdrawals
- Statements
- Account history
These records remain attached to the betPawa account.
Logout is an access action, not an account deletion, bet cancellation or responsible-gambling restriction.

FAQ
Can I remotely log out of a betPawa session on another device?
Logging in to the same betPawa account from another location causes the earlier session to be logged out. The previous session then displays a message explaining that the user logged in from another location. If an unavailable device may have been accessed by someone else, also protect the account credentials and contact Customer Support.
Does logging out remove a password saved in my browser?
Logout ends the active betPawa session but does not delete a password stored by the browser or password manager. On a shared device, log out first and then remove the betPawa credential from the browser’s saved-password settings.
What can I do if I no longer have the device where I stayed logged in?
Log in to the betPawa account from another location. The previous session is logged out when the same user signs in from the new location. If the old device is lost, stolen or accessible to another person, protect the account credentials and contact Customer Support if unauthorized access is suspected.
Does uninstalling the betPawa Android app close my betPawa account?
Uninstalling the Android app removes the application from that device. It does not close, suspend or self-exclude the betPawa account. Account closure and self-exclusion use separate account processes.
